This record is a must own. I decided to start a small vinyl collection that strictly includes only my all-time favorite records. Records that I know will stay with me forever and that will bring me back to certain time in my life. It honestly took me a while to get into Saves the Day. I have seen them live multiple times and I couldn’t get past Chris’s unique/nasally voice. Definitely an acquired taste but I kept seeing all these bands I love mention them as an influence in interviews. So I decided to give them another listen with my full attention and this record in particular struck a chord with me. The melodies are infectious and the lyrics are pure genius and it made me appreciate them and understand why they made such a big impact in the pop-punk/emo scene. I’ll post pics/share stories as my collection grows. -Dave
